This page will contain past Bradwan Christmas cards. At the moment it only has 2007's. 2008's will be moved here to make room for the next Walburgas card. O may put earlier cards on here as well.
The lining power From a star that’s Leeding From the deep dark slough From passing time to which all must bow Splitting light and the spinning seasons Colours changing for burdened beasts with the age long plough A climbing tower for a soul that’s feeding From cold to feast in seasoned snow From frozen low to the hear and know Queen of reasons Hope free ranging So may love lights grow for your then and now With bright stars aglow. Happy Christmas. The poem took many weeks grinding, and was rewritten even after setting on here. The picture is from photos taken walking from Queensbury to Holmfield on an illegally blocked footpath. I used Photoshop Elements 2 to merge, colour reverse; and added the star from Xmas 05. In the last year my Bradwan dream empire has grow apace, although not afame or awealth. I made my West End debut with my Walburgas Day Show, was Poet of Fete at South Milford, Poet of the Lost Line at Queensbury and Bard of the Red Bread for National Ginger Day at the Botanic Gardens of Wales. I also revived the Priestley Night on 13th Sept. and did a Curry & Kipling Night on National Poetry Day. WALBURGAS DAY 2008 Provisionally booked for Monday 25th Feb. at the Old Tigers Head, Lee, London. There will be stories, poems, history and maybe ranting from me; and possibly music For more info please check www.bradwan.com © Glyn Watkins, trading as Bradwan, 2007 and I will send a postal address to send a cheque to, I am not taking payment until the health of my father is more certain.
