Text-only copy of Christmas poem
This year both the poem and poem were built over more than a week, and that after several years of mulling.
The 'pylon' part of the image was made with twisted sticks taken from a ferul cotonieaster, which I then sewed to cardboard, in order to keep them flat as possible, put in a plastic pocket and scanned. The drop-shadows and illusions of depth are created by shadows and depth. The shining light effects are, mostly, caused by light shining off the plastic. The star is a flower in another plastic pocket and an origami star. The whole thing was put together with photoshop elements and my steam age iMac.
