Happy Christmas

Bradwan Christmas card with poem linking to words and background.

ON A BIRTHDAY

The differential of changing years
Double clutching to find reverse
While youth on auto see nought to learn
Just integral ease with speed and send
Just no braking twixt see and spend
Rubber and time are just there to burn

Knowing the need for changing gears
The when to climb and when to curse
The when to slow and when to turn
Age's intervals sees the need to mend
Ages making time that's free to tend
A drive well geared leaves no need to yearn

Written for a friends 50th birthday, 12th April 2008.  Based on this quote

Thursday, January 1st, 2009 Pie Poem Though dieters flinch and anorexics sneer
We'll keep the big pie scoffing here!

Poem written for Walburgas 09, but not used.

Red cards of forgetting

Eyes and size and show

The Broadest Ford wont take the throng

Of men who do not know

But the slightest breath, when stillness reigns

Can draw the fire, for the average Joe.

Hope's stage setting

Lights up the acts of reap and grow

Even when crunching hoard grinds weak and strong

The strength of love will make the dough

If beat of life still fills the veins

Let oil of kindness still ease the flow

Wrote the below poem very quickly, ON 13TH FEB.  09, in view of the person that got it. May the sharp breath of wild wonder

Yield a wicked glow

With an ebb and flow

Leaving memories sweet

And a past to know
