Blue Belle Rendezvous

Jewelled spring blue
Emeralds the shadows
Nectar set early
Nosegay rays retreating
Yet still glories the shade

Written 2nd May 05, inspired by the walk through the bluebell wood just to the north of the Frog & Nightgown, near Little Haven, Sussex.

Be Calmed

May the sails on the spars of your spirit
Be made for the breath of questing
Be furled in the storms of fear
And dried in the peace of resting

Written just after 1 o'clock on the afternoon of 18th April for a good friend in the midst of a storm.

Txt message poem

The peom below was written on 30th April 2006 to a character limit for a txt poetry competition based on spring.

A billion tons of sap will shoot.
To add green to skies.
Bud the breast.
Flame the eyes.
Flash the crest.
& swell the root.
